What is an IEP Clinic?   

IEP Clinics are an opportunity for families to receive personalized attention from an experienced advocate and a team of recent PCTI graduates (“interns”). 

 

What do you talk about at an IEP Clinic?

IEP Clinics are tailored to the needs of each individual family. We ask that families provide us with a copy of their child’s IEP so we may review it in advance, and so we can have an informed discussion in the clinic. 

 

Some topics we cover are: 

Evaluations, including types of evaluation and how to request them 

 

When are the IEP Clinics?  

We hold IEP clinics virtually 3 times a week. Typically (though not always!) clinics are Tuesday evening, Friday morning, and Friday afternoon. 

 

What happens after an IEP Clinic?  

After an IEP Clinic we send the family a summary of the meeting along with a list of action items and resources. Our goal is for families to feel empowered to advocate on behalf of their children and to know what their next steps and options are.
