If you are always trying to be normal,

you will never know how

amazing you can be.

History, despite its wrenching pain,

cannot be unlived,

but if faced with courage,

need not be lived again.

Everything in the universe has a rhythm,

everything dances.

Stepping onto a brand-new path is difficult, but not more difficult than

remaining in a situation, which is not nurturing to the whole woman.

And I still rise.

Do the best you can until 

you know better.

Then when you know better

do better.

You can't use up

creativity.

The more you use,

the more you have.

When someone shows who they are,

believe them

the first time.

You may not control all the events that happen to you,

you can decide not to be reduced by them. 

I've learned that making a living is not the same

as making a life.

When you know better,

you do better.

Don't bring negative to my door.

This is a wonderful day.

And I have never seen this one ever before.

We delight in the beauty of the butterfly

but rarely admit the changes

it has gone through

to achieve that beauty.

Nothing can dim the light 

which shines from within.

Listen to yourself and in that quietude you might hear the voice of God.
